Our Kasha is 13 years old, a gorgeous and affectionate Calico, and very much loved in our household. She has been with me personally through thick and thin over many years and there is nothing I would not do for her to make her happy and comfortable.

 

When Kasha suddenly became ill just over a month ago, I became very concerned and once the vet had examined her, we were told that her teeth were in a very bad way. She had one badly broken tooth and several that needed to be extracted.

She had pet insurance but we knew that dental treatments were hardly ever covered and as we were undergoing debt assistance with WSNP, we had very little money to spare and certainly not enough that would cover something as expensive as dental treatment.

 

Our finance advisor made us aware of Stichting Mens Dier Nood and the service that they offered and we quickly applied for some help. Our relief when they replied to us was immense and we were thrilled that they would be able to cover quite a large amount of the final bill for the treatment that Kasha required. The remaining amount was far easier for us to handle from our own finances and we were able to get her treatment sorted out quickly.

 

She is now much more comfortable and happy and back to her old self!

 

We are eternally grateful for the help that SMDN has provided to us. Kasha was in a lot of pain and as a pet parent, I felt so useless that our lack of means was holding back her treatment, despite having pet insurance for her.
